The purpose of the Fundamentals of Arthroscopic Surgery Training (FAST) Program is to enable surgeons to learn, practice, and master the foundational skills essential to arthroscopy. If used within the residency training curriculum, it is ideal that residents complete the program prior to finishing the PGY-3 year.

This web application will guide you through a series of modules. To successfullly complete the program, you will need all of the equipment and accessories pictured above as well as arthroscopic video or other similar equipment. A complete list of all of the equipment pictured as well as instructions for purchase are provided on the next page. Several instructional videos are included in this introductory section which go over arthroscope setup and how to use the FAST workstation and instrumentation.
